Shelley is a one of a kind realtor. The first time we met with her, we were not planning to buy a home, we were just tagging along with friends. Shelley spent 2 full days with us looking at homes throughout the Treasure Valley. Her knowledge on the areas and new (and future) developments was evident from the start. But what set her apart even more is how much she cared and how easily we came to trust her. A month and a half later, we were back out looking for homes and Shelley picked right back up where we left off. Fast forward another month and we were finally putting in an offer on a home - that we lost out on the bid for. However, Shelley was able to work with that same builder and was able to convince them to not take our Dream home to market and instead sell it at list price to us off-market. During escrow, she had multiple options prepared for us and made the process extremely simple - no matter how difficult I tried to make it for everyone. For Shelley's sake, I hope that we are her most difficult client; but throughout the whole process she made us feel totally normal and helped us get closer and closer to the finish line. After a 4 month process, we finally closed on our Dream home. It took lots of effort from all parties involved and we absolutely could not have done it without Shelley and the team she assembled. Highly recommend Shelley whether you are buying or selling. Being new to Ada County I attended many open houses not only to get a feel for the market here but also to find a prospective agent to assist in buying a home. At her open house I observed a professional personable person with a genuine instinctive ability to relate to everyone. I contacted her afterwards to work together. It’s a team collaborate effort and Shelley is a dedicated team player. It’s necessary to work with an agent that definitely has your best interests in mind along with a give and take relationship to find your ideal home. I closed on a home less than a week ago. She researched and presented a full market comparison, an offer was made and accepted without counter based on that extensive research. She was involved and available throughout the inspection and all closing processes. Her knowledge, communicative ability and work ethic far exceeds anyone else I’ve had contact with in this industry. Being a senior citizen I appreciate her technical abilities along with an old school approach which is based on hard work and preparedness. You can’t go wrong with Shelley.
